Things You Need To Know

We’re excited to announce some new additions to the MECS sports uniform range—our very first MECS sports hoodie and beanie!

Until now, students haven’t had a consistent hoodie or windcheater option for the colder months. As a result, during winter interschool sports events, our students have often appeared in a mix of jumpers in different colours and styles, which isn’t the best look when versing another school (we are involved in a number of interschool events). 

While we remain a school that chooses not to have a compulsory everyday uniform, we are pleased to offer this new hoodie to complement the existing sports uniform. It provides both warmth and a more unified look for our students during winter.

Although the hoodie is not compulsory, we strongly encourage all students to wear the MECS hoodie when attending off-site interschool sports events.

Students are also reminded to wear their sports polo on designated sports days, both on and off campus. 

In addition to the hoodie, we’ve also released a MECS beanie—perfect for those extra chilly mornings!

Fundraising for Myanmar 

Our Year 7 Humanities students are excited to announce they are launching a band-new campaign, fundraising money for our brothers and sisters in Myanmar.

Fundraising for this is simple. Simply collect your cans and bottles and take them to your local container deposit point.
