King's Cup Volleyball Tournament

Congratulations to Senior Secondary Students Irin, Bassie, and Julia who went to Adelaide for the King’s Cup tournament, hosted by the Chin Community of Adelaide Inc. held over the Kings Birthday long weekend. The tournament participants are mainly Chin youth across Adelaide and Melbourne.

The girls played for Hornbill Football Club – a local club founded by Chin youth last year. The club includes both soccer and volleyball teams. The volleyball team has been actively competing in the Maroondah League and various other tournaments.

Irin and her team won the Women’s Volleyball Championship, and Irin was awarded MVP of the tournament!
