North Metro Region

The NMR Cross Country event was held at Bundoora Park on Wednesday June 17, with 21 students competing. Special mention to our four athletes that finished in the top 12 of their races, meaning they qualified for State Cross Country; Michaela Belles, Maddie Carr-Howes, Evan Kondys and Aiden Hickmott. Michaela and Maddie were both on the podium in their respective races, finishing in 2nd place! Congratulations also to our two age groups that finished runner-up as a team. This accounts for the combined place finishes for our top three ranked runners:

15 Girls age group: Michaela Belles, Lynn Kodsi, Jemima Sagar

13 Boys age group: Aiden Hickmott, Ged Morland, Connor Stanton.
