Year 10–12 Snow Camp!

This year marked the exciting return of the Scoresby Secondary College Year 10–12 Snow Camp, the first snow camp our school has run in many years. 

It was fantastic to see students embrace the opportunity to experience the alpine environment at Mount Buller.

Students stayed at the Alzburg Resort in Mansfield before heading up the mountain each day to enjoy the snow. Across the camp, students challenged themselves, supported one another and developed new skills on the slopes.

One of the highlights of the camp was seeing the incredible improvement in students' snowboarding ability. 

Many students who had little or no previous experience quickly grew in confidence, progressing from the beginner slopes to confidently linking turns and exploring more of the mountain. 

Their determination, resilience and willingness to step outside their comfort zones were truly impressive.

Beyond the snow, the camp provided students with the opportunity to build friendships, develop independence and create lasting memories. It was wonderful to see students encouraging each other, celebrating successes and representing Scoresby Secondary College so positively throughout the trip.

A huge thank you to all the staff who gave their time and energy to make the camp possible. We also congratulate our students on their outstanding attitude and enthusiasm. 

The success of this year's camp has laid the foundation for what we hope will once again become a valued tradition at Scoresby Secondary College.
