“Exciting New Chapter for Local Athletics Club as They Move to Primary School Site"

In a move that marks an exciting new chapter in its proud history, Yarrawonga Mulwala Little Athletics Club has officially relocated to its new home at Sacred Heart Primary School. The partnership between YMLAC and Sacred Heart promises to bring significant benefits to athletes, their families, and the wider community. 

Sacred Heart offers excellent facilities, providing athletes of all ages with access to ample space, shelter and a safe environment to train and compete. The relocation hopes to encourage greater participation in sport and physical activity among the broader community.

Club President Ange James expressed enthusiasm about the move: “We’re incredibly excited to begin this new partnership with Sacred Heart. The school’s excellent facilities will not only support the ongoing development of our athletes but will also make it easier for families to be involved.” 

As the club settles into its new surroundings, YMLAC has also taken time to acknowledge and express their gratitude to their previous hosts at Moira Shire & Yarrawonga P12, who provided a home to the club for many decades. “We owe a great deal of thanks to both the Moira Shire and Yarrawonga P12 College for their incredible support over the years,” said Ange James. “Their generosity allowed us to grow and serve our community, and we are deeply appreciative of the relationship we’ve built together.”

Looking ahead, YMLAC remains committed to its mission of promoting health, fitness, and sportsmanship across all age groups. With the support of Sacred Heart Primary School, the club hopes to continue nurturing local talent and fostering a love of athletics for generations to come.
