Wellbeing

At Plenty River College, student wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated Wellbeing Team provides individualised social and emotional support — both through targeted programs and directly within classrooms.

Wellbeing staff work alongside teachers to support students in real time, helping with emotional regulation, engagement, and positive learning behaviours.

We also provide daily healthy breakfast and lunch, sensory-friendly classrooms with regulation tools, and inclusive learning spaces that help students feel safe, calm, and ready to learn.

Students can build confidence and resilience through electives such as Visual Arts and School Band, hands-on workshops and incursions, inclusive sports and recreational activities, and access to a local gym.

By supporting both physical and emotional wellbeing, we help every student feel connected, capable, and ready to thrive.
