Social Media Minimum Age Scheme

We would like to inform our school community that the Social Media Minimum Age Scheme came into effect on 10 December 2025. This scheme introduces a minimum age requirement for accessing certain social media platforms, with the aim of protecting young people from harmful content, cyberbullying, and privacy risks.

At Plenty River College (PRC), we expect students under 16  to comply with this scheme and to use social media responsibly.
