State Athletics
On Monday 20th October 3 students represented Viewbank College at the State Track and Field event at Albert Park.
Congratulations to the following students for making it to this level and doing themself and the school proud.

Inters Volleyball Girls
On Wednesday 22nd October our Inters girls Volleyball headed to Mullum Mullum Stadium for the round robin event. Our A team were undefeated until the grand final where they lost to Macleod College. Our B team were strong throughout the day but didn’t make it to the final. Great work to all involved.
Year 8 Table Tennis
On Wednesday 22nd Oct our year 8 headed to Coburg Table Tennis Club for the interschool round. The girls had a great day winning now to progress to the state level.
Year 7/8 Boys Hockey Off To State!!
Wednesday 22nd of October was the regional comp for the hockey. The boys had a great day out winning and now advancing to the state level on November 19th.
Year 8 Regional Boys Basketball
Year 8 boys basketball team headed to Mill Park for the regional basketball. The lads came back from an early loss in the day to make the final. Unfortunately Came up short by 10 to Diamond Valley, but fought it out. Huge effort from all involved.
Year 8 Volleyball
Year 8 boys defeat Brunswick Secondary in 3 sets, defeated Mernda Central in 3 sets, lost in straight sets to Hume Central. The boys had high spirits all day and represented themself and the college to a high level. Well done Lads.
Year 7 Boys and Girls Tennis
Y7 boys and girls tennis played well, but sadly lost their rounds and did not get through to the final. Big ups to them all for playing well, and even some on-court coaching by a few of the kids to the opposition!
Year 7 Boys Basketball Runners Up In Region
Year 7 boys headed to Mill Park Stadium on Thursday 30th October. The boys had a good day out but unfortunately came runner up in the region. Well done to all involved.
Year 7 Girls Basketball
Year 7 girls headed to Mill Park Stadium on Thursday 30th October.
The girls finished 2nd in there pool. The fought hard all day and should be very proud of themself. Well done.
Year 7 Girls Regional Cricket
Our year 7 girls headed to Donath Reserve to play in the regional cricket.
The girls did well but unfortunately lost there game.
Year 7 Boys Cricket Regional Final
The year 7 boys headed to Donath Reserve to play in the regional finals on Thursday 6/11. The boys had a ripper day coming away with the win. The boys will head out on the 20th of November to plate in the state game. Good luck Team!!!
Year 8 Boys Baseball
On Thursday 13th November our year 8 2026 Baseball team headed to Mill Park in Diamond Creek to play in the baseball. The boys won their games against Macleod and Greensborough and have made it through to the next round! Thanks to Josh & Jacob for coaching.
Year 8 Girls 2026 Softball
Year 8 2026 girls softball played well today and had a wing against Monty, but lost the other 3 games.
Year 8 Boys 2026 Cricket
On Thursday 13th November year 7 boys headed out to play in the 2026 year 8 cricket. The boys had a great day defeating Greensborough.
