YEAR 10 ENGLISH ENHANCEMENT 

Trophy Boys was an unforgettable play seen by the Year 10 English Enhancement class. The show followed an all male group of year 12 debaters (played by women), debating their final argument: ‘Feminism has failed women’. Affirmative. This show dived into intense themes of sexual assault, politics and misogyny while still remaining hilariously enjoyable and incredibly well received from the audience. Every part of this show had clearly been picked perfectly for the audience. From the simple yet powerful set design of a classroom, walls decorated with female activist photos, to the talented and immersive actors that had us both in tears from laughing and stunned silence as they presented ideas that really made the audience think. We were lucky enough to have a Q&A with the cast afterwards and they answered all our questions about production and performance. Overall, this was a spectacular show, and I recommend it to anyone who can see it.

QUIET ACHIEVER AWARD

The Year 10 Team would like to congratulate the students below on the impressive progress they have made in Term 3. As a result of their ability to quietly go about their work to achieve their best, they were nominated by their teachers for the Quiet Achiever Award and were rewarded with a $10.00 canteen voucher. Students were nominated if they were able to consistently demonstrate the following criteria this Term, based on the College's Values and Parkdale Principles:​
