It’s been a big week on the school social scene and both the PFA, parent volunteers and
kids have been busy!

WPS Kids Disco Wrap-Up-Friday 19th of June
What a night (and afternoon!) to remember — our school discos were a huge success!
We had the biggest turnout ever, raised a fantastic amount of money for the school, and the dance floor was absolutely buzzing with some truly fabulous moves.
A massive thank you to our PFA and wonderful parent volunteers — it genuinely took a small army to make it all happen. Huge thanks as well to DJ Milky T for keeping the beats
pumping, and to Sue, Annika and Scarli for their help and organisation.
We couldn’t have done it without you — thank you for making it such a fun, memorable
event for our kids!
PFA Cake Stall - Monday 22nd of June
Thank you for all the delicious donations of cakes, biscuits, toffee apples and other tasty
treats which were sold at Monday’s cake stall. We raised a huge $687.50 for the school!
Wow! We couldn’t have done this without the parent volunteers, baked goods received, the PFA members involved who organised and ran the event and of course, all the hungry
customers who came and purchased the yummy food.
Did your kid(s) have a good time at the school disco? Would you like to be involved in
running some fun events for the kids and adults (who said the kids get to have all the
fun?!) .......Then join us in the PFA!
We’d love to have keen parents join the PFA. We’re a fun bunch that meets monthly, usually at Holgates, and you can volunteer to help out with as much or as little as you’re able. Our next meeting will be held at 7.30pm at Holgates Brewery on Tuesday the 14th of July.
