Our Girls Volleyball A team will play their Grand Final next Wednesday at Oxley Stadium.

All three of the other teams that played Grand Finals on Wednesday played really well but unfortunately fell just short of a win.

Congratulations to our Girls Netball A, Girls Netball B and Girls Volleyball B teams on their fantastic seasons.

Following the Grand Finals, our Seniors were acknowledged for their efforts throughout the season, with students from each team receiving medals for Most Valuable Player and Best Team Player.

Our Seniors’ EISM team-sport season is now officially over for 2026. Year 12 and Year 11 students will now focus on their studies, while our Year 10 students will take part in an organised Sport Program for the remainder of the year. This will include dancing lessons in preparation for the Year 10 Formal.

Congratulations to the following Senior students who received medals.

Year 8/9 EISM Sport

Our Year 8/9 students were unable to participate in the Season 2 EISM finals due to City Cite and Year 8 Camp commitments. Some of our Year 8/9 teams performed exceptionally well throughout the season, and it was unfortunate that they could not participate in the Grand Finals.

We will, however, acknowledge the Most Valuable Players and Best Team Players during a Sports Assembly once both year levels have returned from their excursions.

Year 8/9 students will commence their Season 3 EISM Sport on Thursday 11 September. Our Year 8 students will start their trials on Thursday 27 August while our Year 9 students will still be attending City Cite. Both Year levels will have their final trials on Thursday 3 September.

Year 7 EISM Sport

Our Year 7 students will finish their Season 2 with Grand Finals on Monday 31 August.

Students who do not participate in the Grand Finals will begin trials for Season 3 EISM Sport. There will be two more Mondays this term for students to trial for a place in the different sports on offer before their first round on the first day back of Term 4.

EISM Cross-Country

We have had great attendance at our Cross-Country preparation sessions on Monday mornings before school.

Our Running Coach, Mr Daniel Waddell, has done a fantastic job preparing our students for the EISM Cross-Country competition, which will be held on Wednesday 9 September.

Selected students will depart from the Stadium at 8.00am on the day and will return to school by 3.30pm for normal dismissal.

Well done to all our students for their outstanding efforts, commitment and sportsmanship throughout the EISM season. We wish our remaining teams all the best in their upcoming Grand Finals!
