HEATH MORRIS
I would like to wish the best of luck to all the students who will participate in the Interschool cross country and orienteering event on Tuesday the 14th week 5, next week.
Cross country students will run 2km on a course at the golf club. Some class 5 students will do an orienteering course in pairs later that afternoon. These events help solidify students' efforts from their map reading and building main lesson in Class 4. The Class 4 students will later have their own orienteering event at the school and continue these studies on their camp in Term 3, finally being properly prepared for them to compete in next year’s interschool orienteering carnival.
If your child is interested in any sports and their pathways please reach out as I am happy to help, especially if they require registration forms for regional try outs, or how to be involved in their chosen sport.
Thank you and all the best,
Heath Morris
