Nepal Fundraiser | Awareness Week

This week, our College community is joining in solidarity with Nepal, following the devastating floods that have displaced families, destroyed homes and left families grieving. 

In partnership with the College's student-run Justice Action Network, we are stepping into 'first-response' mode to support the Nepal Floods Appeal through Caritas Australia. 

Throughout the week, students are invited to take part in a range of activities designed to raise both awareness and funds:

• Colouring competition – Junior School students are welcome to enter our rhododendron‑themed colouring competition.
• Origami rhododendrons – Wednesday 16 September and Thursday 17 September at lunchtime. Rhododendrons are the national flower of Nepal, symbolising resilience and hope.
• Splash of Red / Nepal Gold‑Coin Dress Day – Thursday 17 September. Students from Kinder to Year 12 are invited to wear a splash of red and bring a gold‑coin donation.
• Solidarity display – Students can contribute their coloured or origami flowers to a large, collaborative display honouring the Nepalese people.

All funds raised will be donated directly to the Caritas Australia Nepal Floods Appeal. Donations can be made via the QR code provided below or through the link here: Nepal Floods | Caritas Australia

Donate towels and newspaper for Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary!

We are collecting old towels and newspapers to help Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary carers rescue and transport injured wildlife. 

Drop-off locations: 

Senior School: The coloured bins outside the Year 11/12 Common Room (earn House points for donating!)

Junior School: Collection tubs are located outside the Junior School Office. 

Important note: Please send in towels without loose threads or frayed edges so our furry friends don't get tangled.  

JackJumpers After School Program returns for Term 4! 

We’ll be starting Term 4 with an extra pep in our step as we welcome back the Tasmania JackJumpers for their popular after-school basketball program on the Nagle Centre courts!

Led by JackJumpers coaches, this program focuses on skill development, game-style drills, and fun for students in Prep through Year 6.

Program Details:

• Dates: Wednesdays, 28 October – 2 December (six sessions)
• Time: 3.25pm–4.25pm 
• Location: St Mary’s Nagle Centre

• Cost: $120 (entire program)

Important road safety reminder

The safety of our students, and our community, is a shared responsibility. Please keep help our school zone safe by slowing down, using designated drop-off areas and staying vigilant during peak pick-up and drop-off times. Thank you for your continued support.
