Update from Wellbeing

Thank you to Tracey & Jess
As 2025 comes to a close, the Wellbeing Team would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Tracey Jacobson, our dedicated school counsellor who has been a valued part of Narrandera High School for 22 years. Tracey is moving on to pursue an exciting career opportunity, and we wish her all the best in this new chapter.
Her commitment and care have made a lasting difference in the lives of many students and families over the years. Your expertise, wisdom and nurturing ways are valued and will be missed.
We also want to express our gratitude to Jess Buchhorn, who has provided essential support as a school counsellor over the past couple of years. Thank you, Jess, for your hard work and kindness in supporting our community. Your connection with students is one of a kind and we really appreciate all your knowledge and care.
End of Year Message
Taking Care Over the School Holidays
As we approach the end of what has been a rewarding and challenging year, we want to remind all our students and families in our close-knit community that the school holidays can be a difficult time for many.
With limited services available locally, the lack of routine and the slower pace of the holidays, some may feel isolated, anxious or stressed.
Please remember, you’re not alone. If things feel tough, reach out, whether it’s to family, friends, or trusted adults. There are also external support services available to help during these times. Looking after your mental and emotional well-being is just as important as your physical health.
We encourage everyone to connect, take care of one another, and ask for help if needed. Our community is strongest when we support each other.
Wishing you all a safe, restful, and happy holiday break. We look forward to welcoming all students, families, and staff back at the start of 2026, ready for another year of growth and connection.
Stay safe and take care.
