Portraits of Inspirational People

Year 10 Visual Arts students completed their final practical project earlier this year, creating portraits of inspirational people. 

Students took inspiration from family members, friends, musicians or sportspeople who they looked up to. They developed their 2D media skills by using charcoal or watercolour, and even incorporated numeracy skills by using a grid method to reproduce their reference images to scale. 

This was a challenging task, with the final artwork being completed in a large A1 format. Students put in a fantastic effort and rose to the challenge of this complex task.
