National Reconciliation Week 2025
This week, our school proudly recognises National Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June), a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories and cultures and to reflect on how we can contribute to reconciliation. The 2025 theme, Bridging Now to Next calls on all Australians to step forward together, to look ahead and continue the push forward as past lessons guide us.
Reconciliation must live in the hearts, minds and actions of all Australians as we move forward, creating a nation strengthened by respectful relationships between the wider Australian community, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
If you would like to get involved a calendar of events can be found on the Reconciliation Australia website.
Let’s stand together to support a more inclusive and united Australia—now more than ever.
This term, we have had some amazing events and programs started by our Chappy Kristen. Her dedication to building community, supporting students, and fostering a positive school culture is being recognized by the school community.
Here are some of the highlights from chaplaincy this year:
We have had 3 awesome pancake breakfasts and enjoyed a mega Chappy breakfast last week during Chappy week.
👉 If you’d like to support the incredible work Kristen does, P&C are doing a chaplaincy raffle! Tickets can be purchased now via the link https://tgshspandc.org.au/shop/chaplaincy-raffle-5-for-3-tickets/
