The Gap State High School
The Gap State High School is excited to host Laternenfest on Saturday, 7 June 2025!
The School will come alive with the sounds of German Music and the tantalising aroma of German food when the Brisbane German Language School (BGLS) holds its annual Laternenfest. Between the hours of 3:00pm and 7:00pm, their will be food trucks, a beer tent, the tuckshop selling a variety of German inspired items. Face painting, games to play and you can test your skills with a German trivia quiz. The culminating highlight will be a lantern parade in the dark after lantern making workshops throughout the afternoon. Tickets can be purchased on the links below.
We are particularly excited to welcome the German community at the High School, a great fit with our new German Immersion program. The funds raised will support the Brisbane German Language School and our school.
Come along and join in the festivities --
