Join multi award winning artist Kalyanii Holden (Jade Tree Ceramics) to create your pet in clay.
Participants will be guided step by step to create their very own pet portrait, by using some simple hand building techniques and colour their furry friend by hand using underglazes.
This three-hour workshop is perfect for all skill levels.
Your finished sculpture will be bisque fired and ready for collection in eight weeks. Please see details attached.
VISUAL ART STUDIO WITH PETA HARVEY – THE ART OF PENCIL
As we approach the final sessions of this program with award winning artist Peta Harvey, students have progressed into colour – with the use of coloured pastels and coloured papers. Our students have engaged with a variety of pencil mediums, and through careful observation have explored techniques and processes of blending to enhance the three dimensional form in their drawings.
Last week Peta was also the recipient of the Portrait Prize at the Brookfield Show – CONGRATUATIONS PETA!
HIGHLIGHTS FROM OUR AUTUMN SHOWCASE in the Tula Gallery last week featured Year 12 VAP and our Visual Art Studio classes. Exhibitions in the Tula Gallery for June will showcase Year 11 Visual Art in Practice and Visual Art student works followed by The Gap Creative Winter Solstice Art Exhibition 202-22 June.
