P&C Update

Mrs Erin Williams - P&C President

Term 2 trundles on with milder weather and less drama hopefully for everyone. The Tuckshop has started introducing some more winter warmer items, and remember to visit the uniform shop for jumpers before it starts to get really cold.

Reporting on funds the P&C have so far donated to the school:

  • We’ve had great feedback about the Adair Donaldson presentations from both students and parents. Let us know if you would like to see more of this kind of presentation.
  • The toilet security upgrades have started rolling out, and we hope to see a lot less vandalism during school hours. Please share the message with your young people that these measures are for their safety and better protection of the facilities so everyone has a nice place to use the bathroom.

We have also heard from some of the respondents in the school review survey that you would like more opportunities to connect and socialise. Please email us at info@tgshspandc.org.au with your ideas and we can get some events going.

Look out for several events coming up in the school next term including Laternenfest, Sustainability Eco Forum, as well as art and music nights and the premier of the student written, directed and performed Thunderbolt! Tickets for all of these will be available soon, so watch Facebook, Instagram, your emails and this newsletter.

Our next meeting is Monday 9th June at 7:00pm in the library. I hope to see you all there!
