We are excited to share that during Term 3, The Gap State High School is proudly hosting study tour groups from Taiwan and Japan! It’s been a vibrant and enriching experience for everyone involved, and we are thrilled to see such wonderful connections being formed across cultures.
Our international guests have been participating in a wide range of classes, including English, Science, and even Cooking, where they’ve had a taste of both education and local flavour! The students have been fully immersed in our school community, learning side-by-side with their Australian peers.
A special highlight of the visit has been the buddy program, which has played a key role in helping our visitors feel welcomed and supported. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our amazing buddy students, whose kindness, patience, and enthusiasm have made a big difference in helping our guests feel at home.
These cultural exchanges offer an incredible opportunity for all students to broaden their horizons, make new friends, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them. We look forward to many more opportunities like this in the future!
