Yr 9 Rites of Passage Preparation Day

During Week 3 our current group of students fully embraced their Preparation Day for the Rites of Passage program at Emu Gully Adventure - displaying teamwork, trust, and an excellent sense of connection.

The activities were challenging and designed to push the students to work together, and they responded with determination and humour. It was a great 'official' start to our Rites of Passage Program for 2025.

This group of students and their families are part of the second year of our Year 9 APP Rites of Passage program. This is a refined version of our regular Applied Positive Psychology program that includes all core APP topics plus a carefully integrated Rites of Passage framework

This program offers an intentional and reflective experience designed to support students and their families through the transition from childhood to young adulthood. It includes meaningful and appropriate challenges, guided mentoring, and opportunities for family involvement.

 Year 10 Camp

The Year 10 Camp will be held at Emu Gully from Monday 13 October to Thursday 16 October 2025 (Week 2, Term 4). Emu Gully is an outdoor education centre that is run with an ANZAC theme. The camp is a leadership and team building program based on the character values of courage, mateship, sacrifice and perseverance. The activities provide opportunities to experience and demonstrate these values.

All meals are provided, and students will stay in dorm style accommodation. The camp letter and sign-up process will be emailed to parents by early Week 4.
