Year 3C

Recently, every classroom has worked together to create a shared set of classroom expectations. These expectations are consistent across all classrooms and specialist learning areas, helping to provide students with a clear, familiar framework wherever they learn. The expectations are proudly displayed in each classroom and are regularly referred to by teachers to guide learning, encourage positive behaviour, and support a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment for all.
In Literacy, students have been enjoying reading Charlotte's Web while exploring the key features of narrative writing. Using the novel as inspiration, students have examined how authors introduce memorable characters and vivid settings before building engaging action within a story. They have planned and written the action section of their own narratives, applying the techniques they have learnt to create exciting and well-structured stories.
