Highlighting 7H

7H as a whole have continued to show kindness, resilience and a positive attitude towards their learning. They have worked well together, supported one another and embraced the many opportunities and challenges throughout the term.

ENGLISH

We are now well into Term 2 and the students are working hard. In English, the start of this term has seen the students complete an Author Study unit on Margaret Wild which has involved a CAT that was done this week. Week 6 also saw us begin our Persuasive Writing unit. Some other areas the students have been focusing on are comprehension, sentence structure and grammar. 

SCIENCE

7H had a squidtastic time in Science during their squid dissection lesson. There were lots of "ewws," laughs and curious discoveries as students explored the squid's weird and wonderful body parts.

WOODWORK

7H have been having a great time in Woodwork creating their own pencil cases while learning how to safely use a range of tools and equipment. It has been wonderful to see students showing creativity, teamwork and persistence as their projects come together.

HUMANITIES

7H has been diving into Humanities by learning about water in the world and why it is such an important resource. Students explored how people around the globe use, share, and protect water in different ways.

DRAMA

7H have been building confidence and creativity in Drama through fun performance activities and teamwork. They have enjoyed different characters, improvisation and bringing their idea to life.
