Our Curriculum This Term
Literacy
In Literacy, we have been working on creating a newspaper article while developing our understanding of text structure and persuasive language. We have also been completing a range of activities based on our mentor text Once, exploring and discussing the key themes in the novel and supporting our ideas with evidence from the text.
Maths
In mathematics, we continued to work on our number fact fluency weekly to ensure our knowledge of times tables improves. We have also been exploring multiplication and division strategies, as well as learning about area and perimeter and applying these concepts to solve a range of problems.
Inquiry
We are excited to have the opportunity to showcase our work this Thursday 25th June. Students have continued to work hard on their self-directed inquiry project exploring a Migration story of choice.
