Senior School Principal

The weeks are certainly flying by, and the Senior School has been a hive of activity throughout Term 3. Students across all year levels have engaged in a range of experiences that have supported their learning, wellbeing and connection to the school community. 

Year 10 students returned from their Mt Buller Camp with many great memories and they are now looking forward to the Presentation Ball. Our Year 11 students have gained valuable life skills through the RYDA Road Safety program and are excited to be involved in the early planning stages of their Year 12 jackets. Whilst the Year 12 students continue to balance the demands of their final year while also enjoying opportunities to connect as a cohort through special events and activities. Thank you to our staff for their dedication in supporting these experiences and to our students for their positive participation and involvement.

Thank You for Supporting Dress for Success

On Saturday 8 August, I had the pleasure of delivering your generous donations to Dress for Success in Frankston. The response to this initiative from our school community was outstanding and what was especially impressive, was the quality of the donations. A significant number of the donated items were brand new, with their original tags still attached. These donations will make a meaningful difference by providing women with access to professional, high-quality clothing to support them in securing interviews and entering the workforce with confidence.

Dress for Success supports women to achieve economic independence by providing professional attire, practical support and confidence-building services. The team at Frankston was incredibly grateful for the generosity shown by our school community, and it was heartening to see firsthand the impact these donations will have.

Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey

Our school is conducting the annual Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey and is seeking your feedback. The survey, offered by the Department of Education, is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behaviour, and student engagement. We sent you an invitation to complete the survey via email on Monday 17 August. If you have misplaced this, please contact the General Office and we can resend this invitation to you.

The Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey will remain open online until Friday 18 September 2026. Your opinions are important to us and will contribute to identifying areas for improvement and professional development needs in the school, to target school planning and improvement strategies. The department will use the results from the survey for research purposes and to improve outcomes for students.

The survey is being conducted online and only takes 20 minutes to complete. It can be completed on any internet enabled device (desktop computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone) and is compatible with most browsers.
