'Hands On' Program

At the start of the year, The Hands On group proposed building a GaGa Pit. Even with approval from school leadership, we knew it would be no small undertaking.

The group encountered a number of setbacks along the way. The proposed area was not initially ready, as we were waiting for the artificial turf to be installed; once it was laid, we discovered that the ground was not level; inclement weather interrupted progress; and various school events reduced the time available for construction.

Despite these challenges the team demonstrated great resilience and determination in bringing the project to completion. 

The attached photos capture the journey, from the initial site inspection in Week 3 of Term 2 through to the finished product in Week 5 of Term 3.

We are incredibly proud of the Hands On group for seeing their vision through, from the initial idea to the completed GaGa Pit.
