VCE VM Fundraiser

'Our Year 12 VCE VM fundraiser BBQ was a massive success! We had an awesome day with a BBQ, raffle, music and heaps of people getting involved to help raise money for a great cause.

One of the things we were raising money towards was Backpacks 4 VIC Kids, helping provide homeless youth with essential items through their youth outreach packs.

We also had an awesome raffle with some really cool prizes donated by businesses including:

• Eastland

• Holey Moley & Strike

• Crocs

• Timezone

• Rubiki

• The Sitting Wombat

• The Pastry Board

• Norwood Canteen

A huge thank you to everyone who donated prizes and supported the event — it made the raffle even better!

We even had a special guest DJ (Year 12 student Ollie Cowie) come along and bring the vibes, which definitely made the BBQ a lot more fun.

The best part was seeing how much support we got from everyone. We originally set a fundraising goal of $1000, but thanks to everyone who came along, donated and supported us, we ended up raising DOUBLE the amount we thought we would with the final tally coming in at just over $2000!

A massive thank you to everyone who helped make the fundraiser happen and everyone who donated or came along on the day. We couldn't have done it without you!
