Cross-country

The cross-country event on May 14th was a great day to be in the park and running. We met with all the schools in the district and a full complement of students from TPS. The students competed and did their best against some particularly good runners this year. Olive S came eighth in the under 11 girls’ event and Felix W came 12th in the boys 11-year-olds. Congratulations to all the students! They were in great spirits and very relaxed throughout the day! 

What is coming up in P.E? 

We have the 2nd Gala Day for the 5/6s which will comprise of several soccer and netball teams travelling off site to play in a round robin competition towards the end of the term. 

Athletics will be held in term 3 and this year I will schedule certain days for the students in grades 3-6 to trial for positions. The first will be the high jump. Keep an eye out for the schedule; pending weather, it will be strictly followed. I should have something up by the end of this week.
