HEAD INJURY PROCEDURES AT KORUMBURRA SECONDARY COLLEGE

The safety and wellbeing of our students is our highest priority. Please see the attachment below for the Korumburra Secondary College procedures that are followed in the event of a head injury occurring at school.

These procedures are aligned with current health and safety guidelines and are designed to ensure students receive appropriate assessment, care, monitoring, and communication with parents/carers. Depending on the nature and severity of the injury, parents/carers may be contacted and advised of recommended medical follow-up.

We encourage all families to familiarise themselves with these procedures to support a consistent approach between home and school in managing head injuries and student recovery.
