OUTDOOR EDUCATION

YEAR 9 - PREPARING FOR KARDELLA

In preparation for their local overnight hike to Kardella this week, our Year 9 Outdoor Education students have been developing their practical outdoor skills, including learning how to safely use a Trangia fuel stove.

Through these hands-on activities, students are building their confidence, independence and ability to make safe and responsible decisions in an outdoor environment. The experience provides an excellent opportunity for students to apply their learning in a practical setting while developing valuable skills for their upcoming adventure.

It has been fantastic to see our Year 9 students embracing the challenge, working together and taking responsibility for their learning.  We had fun putting these skills in action on the Kardella overnight hike!
