YEAR 12 VCE VM 

VCE PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT SKILLS PROJECT

As part of their VCE Vocational Major Personal Development Skills (PDS) project, Year 12 students Chloe, Jess and Abby recently visited the local primary school to run a hands-on cookie baking activity with a group of Grade 6 students.

The activity was designed to encourage younger students to get involved in the kitchen, develop practical skills such as following instructions, measuring ingredients, teamwork and safe food preparation, while also having some fun along the way.

An important focus of the project was also building positive relationships between our secondary students and the Grade 6 students who may be making the transition to secondary college next year. Chloe, Jess and Abby did an excellent job supporting and engaging the students throughout the activity, helping to create a welcoming and positive experience.

The project was a great example of VCE VM students applying their learning in a real-world setting while contributing positively to the local school community.
