Sports Update: Girls' Volleyball Tournament & Badminton Training
Our school’s girls’ volleyball team competed in an exciting tournament early this term, showcasing their dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The players gave their all, representing the school with pride and determination. Throughout the tournament, they faced challenges head-on and tough matches while supporting one another every step of the way. Their resilience and competitive spirit were truly commendable, and beyond the competition itself, the team gained valuable experience that will help them grow as athletes. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and look forward to seeing how they continue to develop their skills in future tournaments.
In addition to volleyball, our badminton trials and training sessions have been in full swing during lunchtimes on Thursdays, with girls only sports on Fridays. Juniors and seniors have been coming together to refine their skills and play with enthusiasm. The turnout has been fantastic, with students of all skill levels—from beginners to experienced players—demonstrating their passion for the sport. What makes these sessions even more special is the way students are stepping up to help each other improve. Senior players have been actively coaching younger students, offering guidance on technique and game strategies
With the upcoming inter-school competitions in Term 2, we are excited to see our players put their hard work into action. We will keep you updated on more of our teams' progress and achievements throughout the year!
