We are thrilled to introduce the Children’s University Australasia program at Hillsmeade Primary School, in partnership with Swinburne University of Technology! This fantastic initiative encourages students to explore new interests, develop a love for learning, and be rewarded for their efforts with an official university graduation.
🌟 What is the Children’s University Program?
The Children’s University provides students with a Passport to Learning, where they record hours from approved extracurricular activities, learning destinations, and online challenges. Once they complete 30 hours, they will be invited to graduate in a special ceremony at Swinburne University!
📚 How Does It Work?
Students can earn CU hours by:
✅ Joining extracurricular clubs at school (e.g., chess, coding, gardening).
✅ Participating in out-of-school learning activities (e.g., music, dance, sports).
✅ Visiting official CU Learning Destinations such as museums, libraries, and science centres.
✅ Completing CU Online Challenges through the CU Portal.
✅ Attending Swinburne’s CU Holiday Programs.

📍 Monday 17 March – Passport to Learning distributed to students
📍 November (Date TBC) – Children’s University Graduation at Swinburne University!
