Year 6 Update

Year 6 News
It has been a fantastic start to the year, and we are so pleased with how well the students have settled into their new routines. Everyone has come back from the holidays full of energy, and it has been wonderful hearing about their adventures over the break.
This term, students will be completing the Family Suitcase Projectas part of their homework. They received their task outlines this week and will be working through a different component each week in preparation for their final presentation later in the term.
In addition to this, students are expected to read for a total of one hour each week. This should be recorded in their diaries and signed by a parent or guardian. Encouraging regular reading at home supports comprehension, vocabulary growth, and a love of literature.
We also have some exciting events coming up this term, including Survivor Day(date to be confirmed), which is sure to be a highlight for the students. More details will be shared as we get closer to the event.
We look forward to a great term ahead!
