Dunlop Reflection

Dunlop 4 Student Leader

As the cold increases and our exams have drawn ever closer, the Dunlop cluster has held firm and stuck to their strong core beliefs and values. We remind each other that it is “Only when you are at your full stretch you can realise your full potential” as this is our key quote for this year, embodying Edward Dunlop.

This term Dunlop has had the pleasure of leading the honorary yearly ANZAC service commemorating the immense heroism and numerous sacrifices of the brave ANZAC soldiers. Those same brave soldiers who along with Sir Edward Weary Dunlop, inspire our core values of courage, commitment and forgiveness. Speaking of courage and commitment, we encourage all students and staff to share in our values, and have the courage and commit to carry out their work so that we may all achieve the best possible goal for ourselves at the end of this academic year.

Cluster Sport Update Term Two

What a great start to Cluster Sport Dunlop has had this term winning our first two games! This term Cluster Sport is based on the Olympics. Our first sport was Soccer where we defeated Mackillop in a very close match! Our next sport was Basketball. The first half saw the boys down 2 to 12 against Bradman. The second half was incredible, with the girls coming back for the cluster and winning 14 to 12! It is always great to hear the support and cheering from the sidelines. Well done Dunlop for being such a strong team and for working so well together! We also are looking forward to another Dunlop Cup this term!
