Great Victorian Bike Ride 2018

This year BSC is sending a team to the Great Victorian Bike Ride, joining the other 50 schools who regularly participate in Victoria’s biggest bike riding festival. Every year, 5,000 people ride, camp and hang out together as they ride around the beautiful high country in Victoria, riding to new towns every day and staying in a new location each night. Brunswick Secondary College will join in the three day ride from Thursday 29 November to Sunday 2 December.

We’re looking for students, parents, families, and teachers to join our school team. I’ve participated in the ride with my family and it is an amazing experience that I encourage you all to try out. It’s a fantastic way to see stunning countryside, get fit, camp out, and eat delicious food. Registration includes camping, food, entertainment, and free access to first aid, bike mechanics and luggage trucks. You can upgrade your accommodation if basic camping is not your thing, and you have access to mobile cafes, bars, and food vans. Live music, open-air cinema, yoga, and more activities that contribute to the atmosphere.
