Congratulations Year 12
We are very proud of our HSC cohort who have just completed an unprecedented year of disrupted study. Several of our students overcame personal obstacles to perform at their personal best. We wish them every success in the future. I would also like to acknowledge the wonderful support given to our HSC students by our SLSOs and community volunteers who stepped up and facilitated special provisions under NESA determined COVID restrictions. Their support has been invaluable.
Christmas Hampers
Student Services have had the pleasure of issuing the P&C funded Christmas hampers to very grateful families across our school community this week. Student Services wish all our families a wonderful, safe festive season. Thank you to our fabulous P&C for their generous donation.
Year 7 2022
Student Services has been busy conducting some individual transition sessions for many of our students transitioning to us next year. We have been having lots of conversations with parents and teachers from our feeder schools to make sure we have the best support in place for our new Year 7 2022 cohort.
Saying Goodbye
Sadly, we are saying good-bye to our Educational Cadet, Darnell Jenkins who has been with us for the last 4 years. Darnell has proven himself to be an asset to our school fulfilling many roles including Maths tutoring for seniors, student mentoring and work behind the scenes including data collation, analysis of student results, Celebration Assembly PowerPoints, and a whole school attendance tracking system. Darnell has secured a Maths teaching position at Port Macquarie High after completing his Maths Honours degree at Newcastle University this year. We will miss him very much but wish him every success in his new position.
Wellbeing in 2022
Unfortunately, many of the positive wellbeing initiatives planned for this year have been cancelled due to COVID-19. We are very much looking forward to 2022 and have already booked in so many fabulous events. For example:

• Stand Tall - Resilience excursion Year 10
• Love Bites - Positive Relationships program Year 10
