CAPA News

The Creative and Performing Arts Faculty could not wait to get back from Remote Learning. Our students and teachers proved that creativeness could not be held back even behind a computer screen. In fact, the situation provided the impetus for many of our students to express their resilience, innovation…and yes…even frustration with the world we found ourselves in during lockdown.

It has always been a part of the creative and performing world to express ourselves not just with words, but pictures, movement, sound and light and this small selection of examples gives just a taste of the many wonderful, thoughtful and expressive works that appeared throughout term 4 and into the classroom on return. The culmination of HSC photography and art works, drama and music performances and designed sets for major works lead the way into many of the performances we were able to see in the Graduation and Presentation ceremonies in the final weeks.

Creative and Performing Arts at Henry Kendall High School is alive and well and ready to burst into 2022.
