Fruit Friday

 

Last week we had a visit from representatives, Michael McKern from the McKern Foundation, and Ben Harvey from the Bendigo Braves to talk to our 3/4 students about the importance of healthy eating.  The students enjoyed the chat, especially the discussion about their favourite fruits. We are very grateful for the ongoing support offered by the McKern foundation, who generously supply our fruit for Fresh Fruit Friday every week.

 

 

Fresh Fruit Friday preparations take place in the canteen from 8:45am.  This is a wonderful opportunity to make new connections with other parents.

 

New volunteers are always welcome and appreciated on Friday mornings to help with the preparation and distribution of Fresh Fruit, generously supplied to our school.  The studetnts always offer you a rockstar welcome- an added benefit.

 

Cookie Dough Fundraiser

We are very excited to be currently running a cookie dough fundraiser. Information went out about this in a compass post last week, so please refer to this for more detailed information. Families can order the cookie dough directly via the website link, or by using the QR code below. The full range is available to view on the website. This is the first time we have offered this fundraiser, so we hope you all enjoy the opportunity to raise funds for our school with the added benefit of some sweet treats.

  3. Place your order, by selecting the ‘order now’ button
  4. Keep track of your orders/ names/ and the quantities ordered for easy delivery
  5. Share our fundraiser with family and friends- the more the merrier.

Fathers Day/ Special Friends Activity

We are very happy, to again offer the opportunity for students to make some special items for their Dads/ Special Friends, in time for Fathers Day. Information about the purchase of these will come out via compass soon. Items will be $5.00 each, with the opportunity for students to purchase additional items if they need. Please see the compass post for more information.  A huge thank you to Ms Shannon Leed for helping us facilitate this activity, allowing students to make some wonderfully unique items, whilst also raising funds for our school.
