Out of School Hockey Stars
Congratulations to Sean, Kai, Freya, and Penny (Year 2), and Areeba and Makayla (Year 3), for participating in a very fun and successful year at Reds Hockey Club. For some of them, this is their first year playing hockey and they have had a wonderful time learning how to be part of a team, meeting new friends, and learning a new sport. The Year 2’s were also lucky to have Mrs Harries coach them every Saturday morning. Reds Hockey Club is the local club for Willetton and the surrounding suburbs. Hockey games and training are held every Saturday morning throughout Term 2 and 3 at Trevor Gribble Reserve (Crn Karel Ave and Parry Ave) for Pre-Primary to Year 4 students. Our last session is this Saturday, August 27th (8:30am – 10:00am) if you would like to come down and see what all the fun is about! If you are interested in playing in 2023, come and speak to Mrs Harries in Room 23 or keep an eye on the Reds Hockey Club website. https://reds.com.au/
School Photo Day is Coming
School photo day is coming! Every student has received a personalised flyer to bring home from Kapture Photography containing your child’s unique codes for ordering school photos online.

The unique codes contained on the flyer will be issued only once.
Order EARLY for discount photo day prices
Order your photos within 10 calendar days of photo day to receive discount photo day prices. Late orders are handled separately from the school delivery and will incur a $20 custom service charge.

All students will be photographed individually on photo day for school administration records AS WELL as included in their class group presentation available for purchase to all families. Should there be any reason why your child should NOT be included in the photo shoot – please contact the school office on 9266 6200 or email burrendah.ps@education.wa.edu.au.

Parents who regularly attended the Parent Network meetings in the past have become good friends. Many of these friendships have continued on, years after their children have left Burrendah Primary School.
It is a really good way to learn about our school, our city, and the many cultures that we encounter at Burrendah.
