GROW Awards

GROW Awards are awarded weekly across the school. Each one awarded to a child adds to their Faction’s overall point tally. Students aim to be the leading Faction by the close of Week 9 to secure the End of Term Faction Reward.

Tomorrow,  students can wear their Faction Shirt to school for the first Faction Assembly of the Term!

Faction Tallies at the end of Week 5:

Totals are also displayed on the School Hall window, outside the front office on the PBS ‘Growometer’.

Upcoming PBS Expectations

The expectation for Week 7 is Respect. We show Respect by being kind and caring. We demonstrate this behaviour  OUTSIDE when we show sportsmanship.

This means:

• We accept other's abilities and encourage their efforts
• We shake hands with our opponents regardless of the score
• We ask others to join in our games even when they're left out

The expectation for Week 8 is Resilience.   We show Resilience by bouncing back and trying again. We demonstrate this behaviour EVERYWHERE/EVERYTIME  when we are optimistic.

This means:

• We attempt all set work by the teacher, especially if it is not our favourite subject
• We accept the groups that we are selected in and use each other's strengths to attempt tasks
• We think the best of our peers and teacher, looking for the things they do well
