Magill School Crossing

We have received confirmation that the funding to upgrade the Magill Road pedestrian crossing has been secured. We hope to see the upgrade completed in the second half of 2022. Thank you to our community for continuing to advocate for the upgrade.

2022 Materials and Service Charge Poll Results

The following are the results of the poll conducted by the Governing Council. The poll has been conducted in accordance with the Education and Children’s Services Act 2019 and the Materials and Services Charges Instructions.

The results of the poll is as follows:

As a result, the 2022 Material and Service charge of $440 will be legally recoverable. The

invoices will be issued early Term 1, 2022.

Canteen News

From next year, Metro Canteen Services will be operating our canteen. Orders will be done in exactly the same way as they currently are. All food will be prepared fresh on-site. Shortly we will publish the menu in readiness for 2022.

End of Year Medication Collection

Please ensure your child’s medication is collected from the front office at the end of school on the last day of your child’s attendance this year. The office will be closed for the Christmas and New Year period and we cannot guarantee the temperature for safe storage of medication.

Primary Schools' Guitar Ensemble

William, Rohan and Jason performed admirably with the Primary Schools' Guitar Ensemble at the Central Student Ensembles' Concert held at Carclew House on Thursday, 2nd December 2021.

PSGE is directed by Ian Seaborn who also teaches at Magill School. Students audition for entry and rehearse weekly at Highbury Primary School.
