At the end of term 2 year 9 Morrisby (My Career Insights) interviews took place in preparation for course selection. In term 1 year 9 students had the opportunity to complete an intensive online assessment which tested their abilities in a range of areas and also asked some interest based questions. Over 250 year 9 students fully completed the online assessments allowing them to participate in meetings with external career consultants. These half hour one on one interviews via Webex proved to be extremely valuable and offered important discussion opportunities, especially ahead of course selection week. 

Looking ahead to terms 3 and 4, the Pathways team are focusing on course selection, as well as the reinstatement of Structured Workplace Learning placements for year 11 and 12 VCAL students, VTAC applications for year 12 students intending to apply for university and other career and study pathways for year 12 leavers. 

VCE Results

The VCAA has confirmed that VCE results will be released to students on Wednesday 30 December at 7am. The ATAR will be released to students at the same time: 7am, Wednesday 30 December 2020.

After the release of results at 7am on Wednesday 30 December, students will have until 12pm, Monday 4 January to finalise their preferences prior to the January round. Offers will be released to students on Thursday 14 January.

To provide further opportunities to students, the first February round of offers has been moved to the first day of the month. Students who wish to change their preferences after the January offer round can do so until 12pm, Thursday 21 January, and offers in this round will be released on Monday 1 February.
