SPORT REPORT

As well as our Years 7-9 school athletics carnival which was held in early Term 2, it was another busy term of inter-school sport with teams in Australian Football, Soccer, Netball, Badminton and Basketball representing Footscray City College in inter-school competitions. Our girls have really kept the flag flying this term with 5 girls teams successful and progressing to Western Metropolitan Regional finals. They were Year 7 & 8 Girls Soccer, Year 7 and Intermediate Netball and Intermediate Girls Footy. Good luck to all girls involved in the next round of competition.

Earlier this term we also had the Inter-school Cross-Country at Pipemakers Park. The following students made top 10 finishes: 

13yo Girls: Mackenzie Callus 4th and Layla Dawkins 5th

13yo Boys: Henry Lovell 1st, Jason Vuong 4th, Lawlor Dummett 7th

14yo Girls: Jade Lewicki 1st

14yo Boys: Otto Crawford 2nd, Sam Roberg 7th 1

5yo Girls: Thea Bosco 5th, Natalie Christie 7th

15yo Boys: Tom Glover 1st, Declan Duffy 4th, Lachlan Sargent 6th

17-20 yo Boys: Max Taylor 1st and Roni Thomas 2nd
