2016 Auditions &

Grand Final Finalists

The Voice competition has taken off this term with students from Years 7 to 12 completing blind auditions last week.

Students auditioned with 30 seconds of a capella singing for our 4 student judges, made up of Year 12 students Ashleigh Basham, Emily Svarnias (Performing Arts Captains), Angelina Pitasi and Alyssa Nichols (Winner and Runner-Up LHS the Voice 2015).

This week over two days, 14 students were selected to perform their best 1 minute vocals of a song, for a packed student and staff audience on the PAC deck. The lunchtime audience was wonderfully receptive and encouraging of our 14 finalists.

The event was hosted by Celeste Wells (Year 11) and featured cameo performances from 'The Wedding Singer' production cast and LHS staff singers.
