Senior Bands Night at Kindred Studios in Yarraville. Monday 24th June. Congratulations to the 50 students from the 9 groups that played at Kindred studios in Yarraville.

A huge crowd filled the band room and were well entertained for almost 2 hours by FCC musicians. Despite the pre-show nerves everyone who took the stage demonstrated a growing confidence in their abilities to hold the audience's attention with expressive performances.

Lunchtime Concert Series - during the final two Thursdays of Term 2, year 10, 11 and 12 music students have entertained audiences in our theatre. Many students came along to enjoy the music, while sound production was taken care of by the VET Music Industry students. Everyone loved the new sound system recently installed in the Theatre. Year 7 and 8 bands also performed lunchtime concerts in the music area, featuring music from Post Malone, Brittney Spears and Smashmouth.

Chasing Sound Music School - FCC music has begun collaborating with Chasing Sound, a private music teaching business in Barkly Street Footscray. As a result, our stageband performed at the Chasing Sound mid-year concert on the evening of Saturday June 22. It was an excellent performance by an excellent band!

King of Pop tribute -  June 25 marks ten years since the passing of the legendary King of Pop, Michael Jackson. In honour and remembrance of his musical talent and iconic dance moves, a tribute show was run on that day at lunchtime in the Forum. The show featured nine songs and was performed by five-year MJ impersonator, Freddie Ponce de Leon.

School Musical Band - The Legally Blonde Band have been working tirelessly to prepare the hundreds of pages of music for this year's upcoming show.
