School Bus Program
2023 Department of Education (Student Transport Division) School Bus Program applications now open.
The School Bus Program assists families in rural and regional Victoria by transporting students to school. All school bus allocations are based on eligibility, residential address and the closest available bus stop following an application.
2023 School Bus applications are now open, please follow the below link to complete an application per child:
Application period (for the 2023 school year) is open from the start of August until the end of Term 3. Placement allocation communications are sent to successful applicants before the end of Term 4.
Please note this is an application process only and does not guarantee a seating allocation on the School Bus Program. One application will be required per student.
You will receive a confirmation email that your application has been received. You will further receive communication from Mornington Secondary College regarding the status and outcome of your application in writing during Term 4.
An application for the School Bus Program must be re-submitted each year.
By submitting your application you and your student(s) agree to the Conditions of Travel as set out by Department of Education and Public Transport Victoria (PTV) if a seat is offered.
*Please Note: there is a PTV price increase from $120 to $125 per term per student for ineligible travellers applicable from Term 1, 2023.
