Congratulations to...

Norah Rao (5 Riley), Maya Dhanapala (5 Riley), Ava Richards (5 Jenkin) and Emma Pomeroy (5 Jones) 

Congratulations to Norah Rao, Maya Dhanapala, Ava Richards and Emma Pomeroy who came second in the Bendigo Amateur Soccer League tournament recently.  They played some tough matches against a number of Melbourne sides. 

Eva Gross (7 Frew), Sarah Cooney (6 Jenkin) and Norah Rao (5 Riley)

Congratulations to Eva Gross, Sarah Cooney and Norah Rao who competed in the Bendigo Tennis Association Junior UTR Tournament.  Eva, Sarah and Norah each won their pool in the robin ladder.

Congratulations also to Norah Rao who competed in the BTA Fosterville Gold B & C Grade Junior Pennant Grand Finals, where her team Spring Gully Duckworth won 6 sets - 36 games to beat South Bendigo Spearow.

Grace Dobie (7 Jenkin)

Congratulations to Grace Dobie who represented the Melbourne Swimming Club Bendigo squad at the recent Victorian State Age LC Swimming Championships in March. 

Grace swam in 8 individual events, 7 finals, and 1 relay throughout the 5 day competition.  Grace was awarded 3 Gold medals, 1 Bronze medal and 2 National qualifying times. 

Grace won Gold in the 50m backstroke, 100m backstroke and 200m backstroke in the 12-year girls to become a triple state champion.  And was awarded Bronze in the 12-13yo girls 4x50m medley relay.

Christian Iuliano (11 Millward)

Christian Iuliano was selected in the U18 Mens Victorian Lacrosse Team to participate at Lacrosse Australia Under 18 National Championships.

The National Championships will be held in Adelaide in July at Brighton Lacrosse Grounds, Brighton South Australia.

Ruby Conti (10 Millward)

Congratulations to Ruby Conti, who has been selected by Gymnastics Australia to represent Australia at the Czech Open in Prague.  She left for Prague on Sunday 3rd April ready to compete on the 8th-10th April.  Best of luck Ruby!
