Athletics Carnival

It was the perfect day on Wednesday 11 March for the Athletics Carnival. The St James boys competed in a wide range of events; both track and field. The day ran really smoothly and the events were completed with passion and enthusiasm.

The students represented their houses with the intention to win, which made the day very competitive and enjoyable. It was great to see house spirit continue to grow in our school. Some of the young men went to a lot of trouble dressing up in costumes in their house colours. 

Congratulations to Miguel who won the St James Athletics Carnival.

We wouldn’t have been able to run the day without the St James College staff who were down by the field and track collecting results and running events. A special thanks to Mr Wood and volunteers who gave up their time to cook the barbecue.
