Pi Day

The annual Pi Challenge took place at St James College on 14th March. The student who could recite or write the most decimal places of Pi was awarded a meat pie for their efforts.

 

Last year's Pi Day records were smashed this year with some unbelievable performances!

 

Congratulations to the following students:

1st: Year 8

Darren  262 decimal places

2nd: Year 9

Dario  232 decimal places

3rd: Year 7

Alexander - 100 decimal places

4th: Year 7

Vincent  96 decimal places

 

Well done to all participants and thanks to the Maths teachers and the Canteen ladies, Brigid and Wendy for the lovely pies!
